Earth Reunion
welcome to Terras Gamos
Terras Gamos is a vision, it’s a prayer, it’s a movement, and at its core it’s a Love Story. Terras Gamos is a response to the disconnection and separation that we see in the world today. Terras Gamos is a movement into a new culture where the human family is reunited with the Earth. Terras Gamos is the honoring of earth-based ceremony as ancient technology, the embarking on a psychospiritual journey of sovereignty, rememberance, and connection, and of coming into your own distinct weavings with the Earth.
The way that modern culture developed not only took us away from ceremonial ways, but it also disconnected us spiritually through the overemphasis on the material world.
Through this process, humans eventually turned their backs on the land. People who live today are a different sort of human than the ones who came before. We were born into a world defined by science, technology, and materialism which brought us many gifts but ultimately separated us from the Earth.
This separation has had deep consequences, consequences that you can see in your own life and all around you. People are unwell and suffering from illnesses of the mind, the body, and the spirit. The Earth is also suffering as her weather patterns change and we see a loss of plant and animal life around the globe. Life itself is slowing down, the reservoir of vitality on the planet is depleting.
What is needed today is to marry the past with the present so that the future can arrive. Terras Gamos is a movement that will unify the modern human’s gifts with the needs of the Earth. Terras Gamos is distinct because it is not a traditional “back to the land” movement, rather it is an integration of the gifts of culture with the gifts of nature. Modern life has both taken and given much, and the way we integrate is by stopping the depletion and reclaiming our vitality, creativity, and individuality and using it to collaborate with the land.
The Terras Gamos land ceremony is the culmination of a deep and metamorphic journey, in the form of an initiatory adventure to prepare you to marry the land. This journey encompasses rites of passage that will guide you to wake up to your own pain of separation, reckon with the times, become sovereign, restore vitality, discover your creative gifts, fall in love with the Earth, and eventually step into conscious partnership with her. We will take the truth of your ancestry and integrate it with the you who stands today and unify you with the Earth through the alchemical magic of ceremony. Terras Gamos is the ultimate celebration of union and commitment.
This reunion between you and the land, formalized in the Terras Gamos land ceremony, symbolizes the mending of a great tear and the tying of a new knot that is binding yet without restriction, a knot that creates a foundation of freedom to channel forth an outpouring of new life and evolution.
The intention behind the work of Terras Gamos is to restore life force here on Earth. As the life force of the planet regenerates, so does the life force of all of her children. Come with me on this sacred quest to leave a legacy of life.
